You can always bring a jar of Peanut butter and one of jam with you. Take it on your trainer's truck. You can buy a loaf of bread at many truck stops as you go.
I always make a habit of stopping at Walmart after my student gets on the truck. Many trainers do, but not all.
The PB&J get's you by when you're broke.
Some trainers are good about feeding you SOME. I hate to have a student faint while driving due to malnutrition. So I'll provide the knife for the sandwich.
Also, if you want to save some money, those ramen in a cup are good. And the Compleat meals at Walmart work good. ($1.89 ea). these fit in your duffle bag and truck stops have micros if your trainer doesn't.Unkl L Thanks this. -

No, they will assign a trainer when they send me out. they told me to be ready to go Saturday am, if he is not in the yard, I will fly out to meet him.

Unkl L, they fed us Spaghetti and Meatballs, Taco Salad, Pizza, and Meatloaf for the four meals I had with them.
