Yep same here. My wife is a nurse and I was reading her the the thread. There are tons of good suggestions but probably the best advice is to seek a professional opinion. That way you can rule out for surer any other medical issues.

I appreciate all the nutritional advice guys ,unfortunately until I get out of PSD and tnt I won't have that much control over where to stop to eat healthiest ,I've already stopped with the Gatorade and unfortunately salads make me have to make the hundred yard clench and dash about 20 minutes later ,so will have to cut them into my diet slowly ,the jerky I'm going to have to take a mulligan on ,I don't eat it all the time but it is probably my one vice . I know it's willpower to change and i have it ,it's just going to be slow going until I get my own truck .Also can anyone tell me how many pairs of compression socks you get in a pack ?I can't see paying 60 or 70 bucks if it's only one or two pairs .

Walmart- $7.99 a pair. Walgreens- $9.99 a pair
Horizon Rider Thanks this. -
You couldn't be more wrong. Loads are timed at 50mph. There are TONS AND TONS of Walmarts along your routes. YOU tell the trainer you need a WM stop to get healthy food. If that doesn't work, take it to the FM. I promise you that you WILL get to stop at WM. JCW stops at WM for groceries, and uses TS microwaves as necessary or his lunchbox cooker. THAT is around $25-$35 and makes life much easier. If he doesn't have a cooler or fridge or won't share same, he's a piss poor excuse for a trainer.Horizon Rider Thanks this.

...and get your blood sugar checked!!!!!
Horizon Rider and losttrucker Thank this. -
Blood sugar is fine ,other than being overweight I'm healthy ,going to see how things are with the swelling and other issues after a week of no Gatorade and just water .
-
A1C checks risk factors, not blood glucose. It's important to get it done.

I'm with Ram on this. It could be just high sodium, but it sounds like diabetes rearing it's read. When you say "my blood sugar is ok" what is the number? And under what conditions?

Between 80-120 is where it should stay.
