Here's a place we can let the moderators know what we think of the new layout. Many of us express or opinions in other threads or blogs, but here we can conglomerate our thoughts to make it easier for the mods to find.

Like a new look or feature? Have a user friendly suggestion? Let's let them know what their users are feeling about their website.

Allow me to kick it off. I'm cool with the colors and appreciate being able to customize my profile (though it takes a lil figuring in some places.)

Qualm: I do blogging on TTR. The admins said blogs were not a well used feature so they decided to remove the button. Now the button is all the way at the bottom of the page. There is still much room on the nav bar. What is the problem with adding the "blogs" link back at the top? If it was a low-use feature before, it certainly will be now because new users may not realize the feature even exists.

I still haven't found where the "subscribed threads" are...other than going through my profile and finding the most recent posts....which takes me to the post I made in the thread, but not to the first unread post in the thread.

Used to be a quick & easy one-click thing to do on the old board...

I'm glad that you're using the blogs, but the blogs were promoted at the top of the site for ~5 years and if you look at any point in time during that stretch I don't think we've ever had even a dozen guys blogging regularly. The forum has grown 10x over since then, but the blogs didn't budge, probably because most people who are serious about blogging prefer to create their own Wordpress or Blogger site.

People aren't using the blogs, and I don't like cluttering up the first part of the site everyone sees with buttons that no one uses. That's really what it boils down to.

The feature exists, but it's currently broken and the exact cause hasn't been determined yet. It's definitely a useful feature and it's on the to do list.

On the old forum software, clicking on the "Post Reply" button at the top or bottom of the thread would send users to a new page to compose their posts.
In the current forum software, 1 click on the "Reply to Thread" button at the top or bottom of the thread would simply direct users to the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the thread, which was causing some confusion.

I've just made edits to the template to so that 1 click on the "Reply to Thread" button will take users to a new page to compose their posts, as it did on the old forum software.
