Hey inbdusfor20yrs-I am assuming that the 36 cents is because of his experience because what we heard while still in school was a LOT less than that; but you know what they say about assuming! From what I have seen with SNI, they have a wonderful plan for all you retired military men and women out there! My husband wants to start with SNI-we feel we probably won't even look at other employers until a year or two, if ever. We really like what we see/hear so far with SNI! If you could get that extra $1400 a month, that is more than my husband was bringing home a month working 40 hours a week! And yours will be on TOP of your pay! Hey, the way we feel about you Veterans-we could never pay you back enough for your service-we thank you! And, for that matter, any and all of you that are military that are reading this, infinite thanks. Our boys make a habit of pointing out Vets when we are out and about if they are wearing something that indicates they are part of the military-a hat, jacket, etc. so we can go up and thank them.
So back to SNI, I would go with them and see how they "fit" for you. In our opinion, you can't go wrong, you'll get the experience you need at a pay you can live with. I will try and keep updating. Won't be anything until he goes off to Wisconsin. You keep us posted, too! Good Luck!

Thanks, I appreciate the comments..

Where did he go to driving school at? I will probably go to Roadmaster there in Indy and hopefully they let me do the orientation there are well. I cannot believe they would make him go to another state for orientation... I guess there's a reason for everything and the powers to be at SNI know what they are doing.. -
Yeah, we thought not going to Indy was strange, too. But...we'll take what we get and go from there. This opportunity will mean a better life for us, so I just want to do my best at helping to make things as easy as possible for my husband during this transition. My husband went to TDI/CDI (Truck Driver's Institute/Commercial Driver's Institute) in South Bend in North Central Indiana. He highly recommends it to anyone wanting to get into truck driving-the instructors weren't mamby-pamby guys and take training you seriously, but with some fun methods of getting what they want you to know, down into your head. Heck, my boys are now showing me with small lego semis they built, how to round a corner of an intersection after watching my husband! Maybe one day they will become drivers, too. Well, keep us posted and if we can help answer anything for you, let us know!

Got my truck today, #43803, '05 Century with only 789422 miles, lol. But it seems to run good and was super clean inside. Time to start making money tomorrow.

'05, won't be long till you get to trade that one in for a newer one. I traded my old 05' in about half a hear ago and just got rid of my 06'.
