Both Kenworth and Peterbilt went into production in mid-MayLBZ Thanks this.

You are correct with the Pete and KW becoming closer then they have before. The development cost for both vehicles was very large. Building two different vehicles from the ground up would have been very costly for Paccar. Like i said before they put an effort in adding significant differences between the two. KW for example has an integrated sleeper unlike the Pete bolt on sleeper. Along with the unique dash's provides two different experiences once you enter the cab. They do share common components, but in their own they provide a different experience.
I wish i knew more about the electrical side to give you feed back on the harness comments. -
Just checked truck paper, first one I have seen in stock.
Looks like a #### Cascadia.

Would a chrome bumper & burning the skirts even help at this point? -
Even with modest changes or differences, any driver not happy in either one should be forced to drive a B model Mack for punishment.
PeteVolvo tech Thanks this. -
I have often told our younger techs who are whinning about doing clutch jobs to shut it or I'll find them a B model Mack to pull the trans on. The only thing tougher than a Mack is a guy who can drive one all day.
At least a B model Mack doesn't rattle like a 387 Pete. -
Amen to that, give them a 2 speed rear and watch them spin in circles trying to figure out how to fix it.

First actual photo I have seen of the cousin Kenworth T680...

That B Model will prolly last (and run) a lot longer too..last 1 Thanks this.

I have to agree with you completely, going to the ports often for out bound and import inbound you never see any used Volvos on the docks. I think they take Volvo's somewhere quiet and give them a Viking funeral. After life they turn into dumpsterslast 1 and Flip Flops Thank this.
