I use Truckster and My DAT Trucking Services.
I also use Waze which is sort of like a GPS but it will give you routing for cars so I stick with my actual routing. Waze is user-based and you can submit things like where road construction is, if there's a Police officer sitting in the median, if there's a car or truck broke down on the side of the road, etc. and then that info gets sent out to anyone else using the app in the area so they can be alert to that. You can also submit if there is light traffic, heavy traffic or if you're at a stand still. Most of the time their GPS routing is similar to what I'm given but I only use it as a supplement, not to take the place of my actual routing. It does let you know and show you on the map when your street or exit is coming up soon or how much further until your exit or street.

I like truckster, in one app it can search: truckstops, rest stops, wal-marts, weigh stations, fuel prices, cat scales, blue beacon, trip pak, transflo, hotels, and truck towing. You can search by zip code, town, or your current location. I use it quite a bit with great success

My DAT has come in handy. Google maps obviously but that already comes with the phone.
