I have always respected IP's opinions, criticisms and advice. And yes, I do sometimes feel at a disadvantage not having a trainer to turn to when I have questions. Although most of it is covered here in the forums, so I don't feel TOO out in the cold![]()
SOMEONE said it couldn't be done...

That being said, congrats on finding a position with someone other than the mega carriers...although your boss being quick with the firing button would give me pause for concern, even if he did back peddle when he figured out it was his mistake. -
Dude, a lot of the "negative posts" in this thread are from veteran drivers with years of experience who've "been there, done that". You have much to learn about this industry, and it's pretty condescending of you to even make this post at this point in your new career.TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
if veteran drivers are offended by people making a mark on thier own after veteran drivers only kick the new guys for being steering wheel holders and going to mega carriers HOW DOES IT FEEL
The problem is we all only have a job it isn't rocket science . If you need validation for your existence look to your family your community your church . It isn't in your 379 Pete and you are not bigger better stronfer or anything else because you drive a standard and I drive an automatic, Common sense isn't very common and many people don't belong on the roads driving some have driven 30 years
Keep the posts coming windsmith you just embarass people that dont know thier own limitationsanj8488 and GMCTtrucks Thank this. -

The boss forgot to pay me last week, so last week's check is $2000 - $750 for one week (the short week due to the holiday), and $1250 for the other.
Four weeks pay, averaged and extrapolated to 52 weeks comes to $50,024 annually. 48 more to go.Last edited: Jun 10, 2012

The problem is that your estimate has already gone down from 55k to a little over 50k. That's not any indication.

4 weeks. 48 more to go. Me - first trucking job EVER.
Some love to remind me that there will be ups and downs. Others such as yourself say that the 'downs' represent a 'problem'. Now I'm confused. -
But that's great. Nothing like having a lot of walking around money when you're young. -
Medical 'insurance' is a farce. Heck, insurance is a big part of the reason that healthcare costs are so high.
