I am new to this site but have taken the time to scroll through "most" of the posts on here. I see a lot of drivers that were pro-JCT have jumped shipped for different reasons. I am curious though to those that are still here, who is your current DM and who have you had in the past? Did anyone have O'Steen before he got promoted?

I have Jeremy Fields. He's a newer guy, but I'm averaging 3300 miles/wk. I have nothing but praise for JCT. I know a lot of the former drivers jumped ship because of elogs...or so they said. Unfortunately, they are going to be hard pressed to find carriers not currently on (or soon going to be on) elogs.

Like they say; you either adapt or get left behind. Stubbornness won't pay the bills.

Well the shippers and receivers issue is not something that JCT can control. They are like that most everywhere and with every trucking company...and until drivers decide that they're sick and tired of taking it up the ###, it's only gonna get worse. I can't speak for the planners or dispatchers as I have never had a problem with them. They have always treated me well and I have no issues getting the miles. Of course I also help them out by not refusing loads and running that load nobody else wants every once in a while too.

Flightwatch I hear you its industry wide issue. Refusing loads never helps out anybody... are you solo or team?

Refusing a load only shows a driver's un-willingness to help the company. Granted, there are emergencies that come up and whatnot, but at least take the load and drive SOMEWHERE with it, even if you can't (or won't) deliver it. Communication is the KEY with this company.

    Hello JCT drivers....

Not a new driver here but am looking into hiring on with JCT. And yes, I have read the last 150 pages or so...lol Company sounds like a great fit for me. I like everything I am hearing. Actually I have looked at JCT for the last few years but never tried to jump in with them.

I am just wondering if JCT if pretty strict on the hiring process. I ask because my work history is not the greatest. Other than that im not a criminal..lol (no record) have a great MVR too.. just the work history stinks.

Also, with the trucks.. what are they governed at? was it 70mph? and I dont remember seeing anything about a pet policy...?

    Thanks everyone.
