black trucks are just part of the fleet, actually rizen, i'm in training right now and training program is a full 3 months. training pay is 350 a week until you get 7k miles then you upgrade to team status and you get 700 a week until 3 the months is up.
i think two months is sufficient, if you think about it it the only people that benefit from you training three months is the company and the trainer. if the trainer is in the bunk, how is the student possibly learning anything?
or my mistake, i'm assuming you're talking about central's training being 7 weeks (rizenpheonix)

he said he wasn't getting enough miles

I've been told it's zip code to zip code but I honestly have no idea. I know it's actually worked in my favor going a few blocks down the road and getting paid for 10 miles once. Usually the miles dispatched aren't too far off from what you drove.
I've never been solo so I can't really tell you from personal experience what to expect. My co-driver hit 3000 a week pretty constantly when he was waiting for me to finish training. He had bad weeks too of course, but more better than not. He's about the only person I take what he says as worth a crap when it comes to truck drivers and the fact that I talked to him almost everyday when he was solo so I knew where he was and going. The short runs are 600-700 miles. Between being local for awhile and running this dedicated, I haven't seen hardly anyone to even see how the solo guys have been running recently. -
The black trucks are better because I drive one.
They just used to have some black and some silver. The black trucks are all 2010's that are left now so they're the oldest trucks.
Highly doubt they hire out of Tennessee, we don't do much there. I don't know why they took down their hiring map, made it a lot easier to figure this out before. -

Surprising. In the past the only problem with miles at Pride was too many of them.

Hey, my sister and I are thinking of going with Pride, but how is it without inverters? Do they allow the ones that plug in to a 12V port? I know we are going to have a laptop, just want to make sure that we will be able to power it and any other little 110V gadgets.

Oops meant to put only 2010s and 2011s have both black and silver trucks. Apparently you can't edit old posts now.
You can use the 12v plug inverters, never heard of anyone that doesn't allow it. You can't wire one to the battery though unless you have a CPAP machine. Should have no problem with a laptop for the most part unless it's a powerful gaming laptop.gakio12 Thanks this. -
Ah okay. Only issue would be with microwaves and refrigerators then. Our list was Pride then Werner, but then we discovered May, but they told my sister they can't hire her as a recent grad (trainee) because they didn't have any female trainers :/. So Pride is back at the top of the list. We take our skills test on the 12th (this tuesday), pass that, then we will be giving Pride a call on wednesday.

Werner shouldn't be on anyone's list. EVER!Jarhed1964 Thanks this.
