If you truly want to know wether taxes are ordained by God or not grab a bible and look it up for yourself. You will find alot of useful information there. Irregardless God says that you are to obey mans law. By implying that you do the work yourself, make out a "cash receipt" full well knowing that what you are doing is wrong and fradulant is not following mans law. Therefore on your day of reckoning you will have to answer for this.
I am curious however, how does one get shot, die for one second, and then spring back to life?

it's totally possible to die and come back. I was dead for about 1 minute, until the doctors could give me 2 shots of adrenaline direct to the heart. Allergic reaction and shock from 100+ hornet stings. not fun

As far as DIY repairs, there is a fine line. If you have the tools and knowledge to do it yourself, there is a considerable amount of $$ to be saved. However, I haven't changed the oil my self in my POV for about 5 years now, just because I just don't like doing it. I would rather be doing other things for that hour or 2. I have however changed, the water pump 3 times, 6 new fuel injectors, replaced rear main seal, and about 3 years back pulled the engine and rebuilt it. cost savings of about $4-5k doing it myself. In a rig, you could easily double or triple that amount of money savings.
The cost savings on simple repairs, like an oil change, I feel my time is more valuable then the savings. Large repairs, why pay $100 or more per hour labor. when I can do it myself in half the time. According to the "book" engine removal on my 99 Ford Ranger should take 5 hours. So the mechanic can bill 5 hours, even though it only takes about an hour. (i know 1 hour because I can do it in 1 hour, 1 hour to install as well. the book says 4 hours to install. So the mechanic bills 9 hours of labor for something that takes less then 2 hours total.

Someone that has no mechanical ability what so ever has really no choice but to farm out the work, and deal with the extra expense. I know plenty of people that can't even figure out how to change a lightbulb, let alone change out a bumper or exhaust pipe.
