Found me a nice 2007 KW t600 with the 86" sleeper 475 cat c15 10 speed 3.25 rears at kw in KC. oil, pumpkin, and dot inspec all came back good and all the specs line up nice on a 2 year note. Its actually burgundy color but have yet to see a trans am truck with the 86" sleeper. no apu, ill have to work on that one, I know theres a grant program to get a apu real cheap from the gov. and ya, paperwork with landstar is a slow go, I send in what they ask for and the next day a new list arrives in my inbox. I am down to a drug test and the truck paperwork and Im doin all that this week then hope to be in Rockford next monday. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Well I'm finally approved for ls and off to orientation this week... Anyone know if there still having trouble getting new folks trailers? I'm planning on haul one of there dry van's... Hope I'm not waiting 3 weeks as I previously read...
-
Yikes that could be an issue!!Delixemodel Thanks this. -
The first break you get in Jax, call trailer utilization and have them start looking. The orientation person should have you do that, but in case they don't, do it!!!! just call the main switchboard and say trailer utilization. I believe dryvan will be option 1.Delixemodel Thanks this.

VR I'd trade the 86" sleeper for a regular sleeper with an APU I don't need a house back there. -
Thanks, I spoke to Allan the orientation guy in saint augastine... He said dry vans are easy and I'll be able to get one within 24hrs of orientation... He said flat beds can take weeks... Heading up there Wednesday so I'll see...

I sure do appreciate the great info... I'm going to take your advice as well!!

ya I have had one before and dont care for the sofa, so in time I will pull that out nd convert it to full bed. as for the space it is ok, I like have the extra room.
quick question for the experienced guys, do you get a fuel card right off the bat or do you have to buy fuel with the initial advance on the load? I expect they will load it on your comdata card, but that item was a bit vague from the recruiter. -
I'm not an experienced guy but I was told 30% can be loaded on your fuel card as soon as your pick up a load...Vegas Reaper Thanks this.
