Verizon is already the most expensive carrier in the world. how much more greed to they need. guess i'll be switching back to sprint. cuz in all reality. Verizon coverage really isn't much better, cept for maybe Wyoming. last week I was up in the northeast. had ZERO coverage through the part of west Virginia and Maryland. but once you hit the pennsyvania state line. it all comes back. it's been very very spotty in Oklahoma. the Dakotas, and Montana. I see areas that sprint covers and Verizon don't. and areas Verizon covers and sprint don't. but the percentage of the country. one isn't better then the other. not to mention that every phone I've ever tried with Verizon. has all been crap. my latest Verizon phone being the biggest P.O.S.

If you compare VZW to ATT, they are very similar in pricing. In fact, they usually play follow the leader when it comes to pricing, ATT usually being first, like eliminating unlimited data. Comparing VZW and ATT to Sprint, MetroPCS or Tmobile is apples to oranges for OTR truck drivers and service area.
You might need to update your roaming, *228, if you're having issues in WV and MD, or anywhere for that matter. I had 4g service running across I90 in SD, and I believe in MT as well, a few months ago. As far as phones go, though, VZW, ATT, Sprint, etc are not phone manufacturers and all of them use the same manufacturers. My last few phones have been great MotoQ, Palm 855, Blackberry Tour and Bold, and my iPhone 4s. Of course none of those phones were "free" or even under $100. These days if it's not Moto, Apple,or maybe Samsung, I'm not interested.

The biggest rip off is assurion insurance. I learned that with my last phone failure 50 dollar deductable and they send me a outdated piece crap.
I dropped the insurance and save 21 dollars a month and bought phone I wanted off ebay.
I won't sign up for another 2 year contract.

This new plan will be cheaper for me. My wife and I use 10 gb a month combined. We both still use a lot of minutes. Around 2000+. We currently pay 305 a month. Under the new plan, we will pay less than 250 a month for 10gb. I'm currently unlimited, but I'll be switching. This is a good deal for us.

Plus, Verizon carries some of the best phones on the market. Namely the Samsung galaxies and the apple iPhone. Spend a little extra and get better quality.

They didn't send you the same phone or better? My wife had a claim on her BB Tour, and they sent us two refurb Tour's that had issues, the third phone, without asking was a brand new BB Bold. We dropped the Assurion though when we got iPhones. Their monthly rates and $100+ deductible for iphones were ridiculous.

Hey fortycal, when you print from your phone how does that work? Do you need to use the wifi hot spot on it or is there a cable that goes between the two?

Use a wireless printer. You can set your phone up to print directly to it.
