A friend of mine was telling me about a driver who was driving team with him anyway while he was sleeping they went through the P.O.E in Florida come morning they were all parked up his team driver was crazy enough to admit he was running 3 log books they took his licence and cut it up right there in front of him needless to say he's banned from driving cdl for life and received about $16000 in fines its much easier to just say you haven't completed you log book for the day then admitting your running more than log.

Kenny is getting over 4000 miles a week and is very happy
-
Hmm, 4000 miles for a solo? Are ya all' on paper logs?
-
yes we run paper logs well my update for last week we did 6900 miles last week so we continue to be happy with the company

I have thought about MVT. They teamed up with El Paso Community College for driver training. Even though MVT is training you; you are a EPCC student and have no requirement to drive for MVT when your training is done.

I applied at MVT when I got my CDL refresher from International Schools but they informed me they only accept refreshers from THEIR school but that I could come back in a year with another company and re-apply. It's been a year but I don't feel like taking a paycut so I don't think I'll be giving them a call.
If I went anywhere else, it would be Munoz Trucking. My father in law drives for them and he said he'd put in a good word for me if I want to make a move. -
I have been driving for M.V.T. since January of this year, for the most part they are a very decent company. They have made some changes in management to make it more driver friendly and weed out the bad seeds within the company. It's taking a little bit of time but the changes are taking place. I have run team and solo for them and both ways I have made money I also run legal, solo I ran 2500-3000 miles a week and team 5000-6500 miles a week most times. They have the freight to keep you rolling. They do get carried away with calling while your at home to get you back on the road early. Don't answer the phone and you ain't got to worry about it. I am off for about two months now because while I was at home this past weekend I broke two bones in my ankle but when I'm released to drive again I will be going right back to them.

I use to live in Las Cruces and would see their trucks all the time. I've also seen them a few times in Houston. I always wanted to know how they treated their drivers and how the miles were.
