If your looking for a job check these guys out. Very good equipment, mostly all new kw t660 the older trucks are 2009 internationals.

Good miles, they do run e logs, but put very little time on the loads. 3000-3500 miles a week, this is on the over the road side, I've heard the regional side is around 2400 to 2600, and that's five days a week.

Otr is fourteen days out then you can take four days off, and possibly 34 hour restart at home.

    Very simple paper work.
You earn p.t.o. Which I've never heard of from a trucking compa

If you don't like going east you may not be happy, not much NYC, but a lot of Philly and Maine, a lot of south east.

So if your in the market for a job check them out.

    Jrdude5 and dryman Thank this.

    Wanted to bump this up.

Where looking for drivers, i was just at the yard wednesday and there was four rows with three or four per row brand new trucks there trying to fill.

If you want to stop having to put post in the crapy company forum take a look at these guys. If you have questions you can pm me or call recruiting 816-242-5516.

They are pretty straight shooters, and they ALSo just changed the policy on having to have hazmat, I don't think you have to get a hazmat at all anymore.

I don't have anything to gain from this except helping a couple drivers find a good job.

    dryman Thanks this.

I went through orientation in early May at OIX. So far, everything I was told in orientation has been true. The people are very pleasant, professional, and try to make you feel like a person instead of a number. They have excellent equipment and a wonderful safety record. They still have some new T660 KW's sitting in the yard ready to be assigned.

As I said above, so far, so good. It's great to actually have a company tell you the truth in orientation.

    Hae a great day.

JB17, do you know what home time options OIX has to offer? I checked out their website and it doesn't go into great detail about it. Thanks

Sorry man i havent been on here in a while. I'm sure this is not going to matter since it's been so long, but it may help some on else out.

You can either do 14 days out then 4 off, or come home every week for 48 hrs. Depending where you reside if you do the 14 out 4 home you can make it home to do your restart during your 14 out. Most every load is out then back to KC, so if you live around KC you can actually be through the house quit often and still get you 4 days off. You do run pretty hard though, I come home every 14 days for the full 4 days off and I average 3000 miles a week that includes the weeks when I'm home for 4 days.

Well I hope you found some one to answer your question back when you asked and made over here.

All of the empty trucks are assigned. We shall see what the winter brings with the dead axles.

I was going to leave because of the equipment. As I was on the way out, the owner, who wanted to keep me on, offered me a Prostar lease. I accepted.

I bought dual wheels. They have been over the top as far as getting my business back on track (I have leased before, have an LLC, and have been successful with that).

This is a very good company. I have found a home. I'm making money and am happy with those I work with, miles and equipment.

Would 2 minor backing accidents 1 in Feb 2011, and 1 in Apr 2011, be a disqualification ?
I obviously had an eye issue , on a blind side at night in a truckstop NLR Ar. petro I got a steel bumper on a pete after getting out three times and looking i moved it back another 8 or 10 ft. stopped set brakes and went back to look. I was on the f.l.corner about a inch into it. Only pushed the front left corner of bumper in an inch and we pulled it out . Because it was a new bumper , the owner ordered a new 1 at about 1500.00 , Now he's got 2 brand new bumpers. I had seen an eye Dr about some issues up close and night driving issues in Apr. 3 days after i had corrective lenses with bi focals backed into a pole at frtliner in Cannonsburg Oh, , in broad day light. I haven't had a backing incident prior to that since oh I'd say late 90's , as I ran ltl with Jevic from 2001 til they closed. Ltl with new century last 2 yrs and nothing since. Live N.E.Kentucky 14 miles from Portsmouth OH along the Ohio river and wondering if this might be a hiring area for them but more so interested in knowing what their accident last three yr. requirement be for new hires. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks gents

What does my driving exp. have to do with pointing out the obvious.
