I've only seen a couple of references here (or on TT) for PAM, what can you tell me about them? Got a link to them?
NM...I found the sub-forum for them on here...I'll read through that.
On my way!

I dont have a link, but for me I responded to an ad in the local newspaper. When I called the number it was for premier trucking school in Peoria. They are training new driver's for Pam and USA also I believe. If you want to call the school the number is 309-691-2693 and ask for Scott Kassel. When I called he done an over the phone application, then sent my info to Pam. About a week later Pam called, asked some question's and offered employment upon obtaining cdl from Premier. About a week later safety called and scheduled me for a drug screen and physical. I wated for 2 more week's before they called and scheduled a start date. Beware though Pam takes forever to return your call's or email's, and very slow at getting thing's moving. When I start it will be almost 2 month's from the time I applied till the time I start school.

Yay! I've got my WIA voucher and, barring anything going wrong at my 1000 appointment at the school tomorrow, I'll be starting class on Monday!
Mister Ection and Rogerthat Thank this. -
As I said check with drivers solutions as they may have a "workaround " for the Illinois licensing issues. Apparently they do.
-
There was no issue with Illinois licensing...It was my speeding ticket that was the problem.

I was responding to the PAM doesn't blacklist post.
-
But you quoted my post...At any rate, it's all good
-
Awesome, man! While it does no practical good, know that there's a fat guy in Montana that's pullin' for ya.
Also... I'm hoping you keep describing what you're going through so I have a better idea for when it's my turn.Rogerthat and Moe Rhonic Thank this. -
Don't get me wrong, I wish you the best. I'm signed up with PAM and would be more than happy to call you a coworker. Good luck whichever route you take.

Thanks M.E. Yeah I had hoped to chronicle my adventures, up through getting my own truck and maybe beyond, if I haven't bored everyone to death by then. Of course, as always it seems, the more I learn, the more questions I have, so there'll be a lot of that too I'm sure!Mister Ection Thanks this.
