I was told 10yrs but think that was a mistake.... I for the life of me don't understand why any company would have age requirements... As long as the truck passes current emission standards and dot, what difference does age make?????

So long as you pass with a Clean 120 and emissions you're solid my friend.

I'm running a 1984 Autocar and I don't have the oldest truck in the fleet.
As the new hiring policy, as of 8/1/12, is that all people submitting their applications will have to install an EOBR, a truck with a mechanical engine will no longer qualify.

Correct. If you drop an electronic engine in, inplace of the mechanical, then it would work. I have an N14 Celect Plus, at home, that I plan to replace my Big Cam III with.

The early N14 mechanicals will not qualify, but the N14 Celect and Celect Plus will qualify.
