Not fracing, but with your crane ticket I would say 2-3 times what you're making now.

You will make more than $50k your first year. The scale is from 65k to 150k depending on number of jobs, size of jobs, location of jobs, location of your base and who you work for. If your on frac with a crane ticket, looks like your on the iron truck. You will do well.

What crane ticket you have? Light crane under 5 tonne, or boom truck under 45 tonne?

Well after the day I just had, I'm ready to take any job I can get in Red Deer at this point. I can't stand it anymore. I'm not afraid of hard work, so if anyone has any leads that are not truck related, I'm willing to give it all I got.

In Alberta an apprenticeship is a minimum 1 year and 2000 hours for the hoisting ticket under 45 tonne's.

If its a registered trade with the government and you have a C of Q, then it's a ticket to make $$$$.

Lloydminster news had a segment on how the entry level jobs in the rigs are booming, can't get enough staff and are starting to have to consider improving wages and benefits, work schedules etc to attract more staff.

I thought there was more oil in SK (or was it MB) than there was in AB. They say it's also sweeter with much less sand. Problem was getting to it, cause its too far down to extract in a mining operation. At least that's what I heard in some oil sands video once upon a time.
