with otr drivers..it'll never happen.

 

Nobody's forcing you to go to work for a company that has policies / procedures / controls that you don't like. When enough drivers quit companies that are driver-unfriendly, they will be forced to re-think their methods. Run with your feet, not your mouth.

 

Here we go again. Another post about a work stoppage that will never happen.

 

In solidarity I am going to stop posting for two days.

 

Err... maybe not.

 

Hey I've done my part. Stopped driving Friday afternoon, and not going to drive again until Monday morning. I know most everyone else stopped during this time, at least I think they did. I don't know for sure, as I wasn't out on the highways to see...

 

I'm supposed to want more miles and hours, why????

 

A work stoppage would do more good than anything else. It can BE done with the proper organazation.
You'd have to step outside the box to do it. None of the supposed groups want this cause they really don't
give a rats acse about the drivers. That includes ooida too they put up the facade they care , but don't.
look at this way ooida and all the other groups are going to make money off of US, the O/O through goods and services they sell.
99% of the general populace can't see the forrest for the trees.
Then throw in the company drivers and union ones they aren't bothered by this either as they will do as they always do.
Most of them are to lazy, stupid or broke to be on their own and know how all this really affests the bottom line.
All the Neville Chamberlains out there can keep on appeasing and see where it gets you.
