About half my loads for the past 2 1/2 weeks. The white valve paid right at 10.00 a mile.

LTL's can work real well. I thought you had a local dedicated deal going though?

They could not gurrantee me runs everyday of the week, so I passed on it. They basically wanted to have a truck "on-call" but not pay for it.
This LTL is working out very well so far. The fun comes Monday when I have to deliver to the new museum towers in the middle of downtown Dallas. The other big crate is going to Humble.Last edited: Jun 17, 2012

If it is that new one on the north side of the Woodall Rogers fwy good luck. Try it about 8 am should be fun.

That would be the one. The guy told be that it is actually very easy to get into since the exit ramp I take puts me right into the job site and after 9am the barricade the right lane off for deliveries. I told him I'd be there around 11am after traffic dies down and he said they'd be ready for me.

What brand gooseneck trailer is that & what are you pulling it with ??? I hauled a couple Taco-Hell signs just like that one a few months back. -
Nothing really special, I'm unloading the trailers in Connecticut today and picking up a 40' HC container in Jersey City, NJ going to Sheboygan, WI Then take the empty can to Elwood, ILSHC Thanks this. -
Well, once again I have had no luck finding a load going back towards home. Closest I can get is KC so that's where I'm heading tomorrow. Good thing is it it very light and just 3 crates going up. I'm sure once I get there I will have to deadhead back to Springfield area or even just say "fugg it" and head to the house.
