    how bout a henry,than you only need 1 tube,but i thought you were talking cb freq,then a 8 tube elkin would work,i know its sweep tube,but works very well.

    My last tube amp had 2 4cx250b tubes .....Im looking into the 811 amp the tubes are cheap .....

    Spending a grand on tubes is silly .....

    yes conover is near rays in elkin,i run a 8 tube mobile have for many years.have a spare 8 tube and a super 4 tube all elkins very trouble free clean amps

    I am still trying to figure out how you get well over 300 watts out of a 250 watt amp. Now what that cb shop show you on a meter you will not get in a truck
