Hey folks, im a rookie here, trying to learn the IN's and OUT's on the trucking industry, i have posted a few threads here, and i want to thank everyone out for assiting us " newbies " and welcoming us in.
as i have stated before that i am still a student on school, have about 5 months left and i am looking to go and work for Werener to Schnider Nat.
and i have been reading a lot of these post and i see that schnider looks a little bit better, however i also see that werner looks worse and better based on what i have read, based on what i have read and understood i am leaning more towrds werner based on some things i have read and what the reqruiter that came to school had to offer
so that what brings me here, to the " vets " of the indusrty , id love to hear your input on my situation
anyanything would be great, thanks again to everything and everyone.

here what i will do, i will tell you what i am looking for, and hopefuly, based on the info i got from ALL of you, you all can give me some guid lines here
what i am looking for is a comp that has a good rep, someone who has trucks that are 2000 or newer,
decent pay, knowing that i am student
im only 21. im in school until march 08, also in march ill be turning 22
im looking for either dry van, flat bed, or someone that specelizes in heavy duty/wide/long. any of the those 3, for now, however as i get the " over the rd experience " id like to at least try other things such as refer and tanker...
also, i have no kids, not married, no gf--well kind of--no big deal, no MAJOR bills, im young, trucking is what i have always wanted to do,
i am looking for OTR. im not to worried about being home,
i figure going and starting with a company, and working, and showing them that i am able to preform my job, work with their request, as long as they work with my very little request, and that would be being home the day before, the day of, and the day after for both thanks giving and x-mas, ill work otr the rest of the year, i have to real reason not too
so you tell me who i should go and work for that has a good reputation
