new driver-Checking in

Hi all, I am an old guy starting a new career in trucking. Starting to run flats with a company out of the midwest. Currently I am waiting on my trainer. So I have some time to kill. Before, I work in aviation and public service. I am out of Minnesota with no wife or kids to support. They have all moved on, the ex not far enough. So this seems like a good time to roam.. I have to say that I visited this site many times. I spent hours treading the entries and opinions have the experience drivers. With the information I read here I was able to make a well informed decision to drive truck otr. Thanks all!
