What is your truck doing?
-
it seems like it has misfire, there are no error codes on dash,
makes +/- 4.6 mpg locally and has very slow response to gas pedal compared to other "same" trucks
lacks power as well
engine harness is new, boost pressure sensor is new, I just did engine overhaul, replaced 2 injectors, 2 timing sensors, flashed ECU to the newest version
installed new fuel lines and fuel/water separator.. didnt help
I replaced fuel pump once but for the used one.. now it gets lower fuel pressure than it had before and it feels like misfire is "bigger" it might be my mind playing tricks on me but tomorrow I will see if it really was fuel pump -
forgot to mention that head was rebuild as well
-
Let me know if it's your fuel pump
-
didn't help now pressure is 3.2 bar and truck still runs like sh..
-
Did you just disconnect the air line from the EPG or replace the whole thing?
-
Just checked my fuel pressure and thats normal. someone told me too replace the vss and the gas pedal sensor but i dont know i would think i would get some type of code for that
-
gas pedal sensor you can check with vcads I believe vss sensor as well..
have you seen previous post
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...o-forum/181114-mid-128-sid-231-fm2-error.html
Pablo really knows this trucks and I think you should ask him about your problem..
I didnt have a chance to check my truck with vcads yet, my guy with computer is on vacation
but vss sensor is next thing im thinking of
-
I disconnected epg. I'm going to change the vss as well but I thought if your vss was bad your speedometer reading would be off. I'm also going to try and get my charge air cooler tested to see if their are any leaks.
