Yea try diconnecting the epg, mine was getting stuck half open. I can't get the charge air cooler checked till next week so I'm going to check the vss. How far are you supposed to back the vss off after you thread it in?
-
Mine was done by mechanic so cant really tell but I think 1/16" gap between sensor and wheel is enough

Hey Pablo, truck is running better but the boost is intermittent for example I have barely any boost in gears 1 through 8 and 9th will give me about 20 lbs occasionally and 10th gear no boost at all. I've already replaced the boost sensor and the boost temp sensor. Any ideas what could be doing this?
-
what about power and fuel milage now?
-
Power seems ok, most of the time it just needs that little boost to get up a hill. Fuel with 25000 or less is 7 to 8 mpg. Over that I'm only getting 5 to 6 mpg
-
Has decent power in gears 1 through 9 but when I get in 10th it's a total dog especially with a heavy load. The truck is Better than it was I think their is just one or two unresolved problems.
Thanks Pablo
