Clean MVR BUT CAN'T FIND WORK!

    Just an update for the rest of ya'll, country cuz who just posted is trying to get me on with Carolina Cargo in Rockhill, SC. I've got some information about them from this site but I'd like to see if any of you have anything to say about them. I just checked their website and the hiring age is 23, which I've stated here before I'm 22 so I already think it's a no go. But someone recruiting trying to get the extra $50 bucks doesn't pay attention to all the details I suppose.

    From what I've heard they aren't good, but in your situation you might just have to suck it up and go with a not so good company for 6 months to a year. After that doors will open wide for you.

    thats exactly what I was thinking. I've applied to and call around 100 companies now with no luck, and the guy I talked to said they will hire anyone with a CDL and a heart beat. So I feel lucky to even have the opportunity to drive a truck.

    CC's rating from 2009 on SAFER is "satisfactory", so maybe they aren't too outrageous. I don't really know, but at least it lets you check out their DOT stats.

    djarlt i have found a job in iowa working for a decent company. pay is ok but medical benefits are pricey, dental & vision are affordable though. been here a year & so far it's enjoyable but i'm looking for something else for personal reasons, but other than that i enjoy my time here. beware of carolina cargo i've heard more bad on them u can post on a website like this.
