Prime Inc driver thread

I agree with what you are saying! However at first sight I could really scare her if they say this is so and so (male name, male face, male voice, and facial hair) but they say "SHE". I don't care about a guy being uncomfortable but its totally different for a woman to be comfortable unless she is completely down to earth! I will only be in her truck to get me miles so I can get on to my truck!

 

i have my license to but no class a exp. and from what i can gather if you have no class a exp. then they bring you in pretty much as someone who dose not have license... probably to see where your at in your skills before they unleash us on the general public lol...try not to fret ..it has been my experience that all good things come in time

 

Which has what to do with anything. At issue here is your gender. Prime will ONLY put a female with a female trainer. Of which there are few. This protects both the company and the trainers, but leaves ladies who would like to be Prime drivers grasping at straws. Unless you have a partner/boyfriend/husband that is willing to train you and he's been at Prime for 90 days and a driver for at least a year, you will NOT GET A MALE TRAINER.

By your statements, "I look just like him." I can make some inferences, but in this case it's not appearance that matters. It's what's on your driver's license and birth certificate. Prime has had to pay through the nose in the past before the policy went in place.

 

However, legally you are still a female. Unless and until you change THAT, the policy will stand. And a FEMALE will more likely to be more understanding about your presenting male than a man will be.

One of reason I chose Prime was because of a former student went to my school. He stopped it and told us a little bit about Prime a few times and he never had anything bad to say. Last time he came he told me that the recruiter asked him if he wanted to train me. He told he that he would not mind but he had not gone threw the trainer training program yet.

 

oh it is a good company to work for, for me it was just too much time away from home ( read family) that was my thorn. had no other issues.
