Wow! That is heavy. But then again, double fraim rails ads allot of weight. You must use that truck for pulling specialized super heavy loads. It's understandable. Even here the tractors that are intended for that kind of application have double fraim rails and heavy axles and their bobtail weight it's in the same ball park.

Yeah I use it for machine transport and oversized loads, regularly runs at 330,000lbs, 600,000 on the clock now and the only problem we've had with it is bent manifold gaskets caused by the heat from the weight and scr system (dpf), problem solved now tho, scr is removed!
My regular lowbed trailer I'm about 82,000lbs empty but with another trailer we got it's 114,000lbs empty, it's never running light ! -
22930lbs with driver and tools? Is that an American driver? If yes, then the truck it,s really light weight for it's size cause the driver weighs 939lbs. He he he....!

Dude, you make me feel like a little boy playing in the sand box with tonka truck toys. Here 330,000lbs GVW it's considered super loads and rwquire special permitting procedures that involve surveillance crews route aprovel in each state that you travel and it may take weeks to get the permits and weeks if not a month to make a move cross country cause the curfews and slow move required by rules. The trailer to move some load in excess of 150'000lbs payload here it,s a monster that weighs as mich as the payload, well almost. All because of stupid bridge laws. Lots of steel, goose neck after goose neck, only groups of 3 axles spaced at minimum 10' between groups, in some instancess it makes the trailer by itself well in exes of 100' long.
I'm just a little o/o and my combination sits on 7 axles. 4 on tractor and 3 on trailer(all aluminum drop deck). I used to own a RGN(removable goose neck) extandeble on 3 axles, with a 3 axle booster/ stinger and a 3 axle jeep, the all thing on 13 axle and I used to think that I was a big boy on the road moving Abrams tanks for the military, but.....anyway. I had to sell the trailer cause of the bad economy that reduced the demand for that kind of application thus the rates went down and I couldn't justify the expencess anymore in view of the reduced revenues. Just about every loaded move was a one way, and wen empty just disconnected the booster and jeep and loaded them on the deck and deadheaded thousands of miles for my next load. -
Really Volvo cabs are really heavy. This is safety issue.
European cabovers got heavy cabs, becouse other cant protect. So no hood - heavy cab.
US cabovers made for export are not so safe as EU cabovers. Argosy is more dangerouse truck then Actros, but Actroc cab is made of steel and Megaspase cab so heavy that tilt cylinders go bad if used frequantly, cab suspention is a week point too.InTranzit Thanks this. -
Dude, I'm tellin ya, you have no idea of the trash that's being considered trucks over here. In some trucks like the T2000 KW you could almost stick your hand out trough the gap between the door and the cab dor frame.
I'm glad that I can let the world know the truth about these shine American big trucks via Internet and forums. In the pictures you can't see and feel the reality about this rigs.
One of my budys that has a KW W900 with studio sleeper always complains of having drafts comming from the door and freezing his left leg in the winter. He also gets rained on in bed sometimes from one of the sleeper side door if there's wind that is blowing in a certain direction wen raining. Etc, etc.
American truck may look good from far, but they're far from good! -

in most of europe axle =10t swing axle or independence suspension is 12t
here in my country axle =13t but you can exceed it up to 10t by paying permit
there is not problem with spacing axles or no need for extra wide trailers or something , here you can load abrams without any problem on 3axle truck with 4axle lowloader and even than be 6ton below max weight -
Listen man, you can't have a good thing built fron a couple of aluminum sheets and a hand full of rivets and a little glue here and there and lots of plastic and expect it to be strong and safe for the occupants. Of course the Euro COE's are a little heavier cause they use steel and strong materials, and for the plastic things they use high grade polymer materials that even look better than the cheap plastic they use over here.
you say that you have a bunch of them Freightliner century and colobia, and how do you like that ugly dashboard when that stupid gray rubber paint starts to peel of? Or how about if the cabinets are equipped with doors, the squeekings and bangings that never stop and if you go over a big bump you might have a piece of interior cab panels hit you in the head. I'm talking from experience buddy!
