The width really helps cut down on the compaction of the fields. That tire was $325 last time I bought one. Full floats are nice but they are about twice the price.

Goodyear G741(33/32), G282(28/32), or G177(32/32) work well on/off road, but the G177 along with the G741 are the most agressive with an inch+ of tread depth. The G177 is the only one available with DuraSeal.

I run Continental HDC1 on dumps that are mostly off road. Great traction. Also run HSC1 on my trucks that do a little more hwy than off road.

im pretty happy with my Aeolus hn596 drive tires. on my belly dump truck. there a 16 ply tire. there cheap. just slightly more for a set of virgin tires than your average re-cap. they wear decent and have good traction in soft dirt mud and do better than most big lug tires in snow and ice and come with a full inch of tread depth

I'm a Michelin fan. XDY_EX2 for pure off roading or XDS/2 for on-off.

I haul oil in a crap area in the bush, horrible logging roads where I am buried to my axles everyday and the main roads have 2" crush tire puncture specials. I have literally tried 70% of the tires mentioned and they are all destroyed in a couple months. The guy who said Goodyear 177 or 741 is bang on, those are holding up the best up here, 741 for the duraseal.

Mind sharing where you got those tires? They're exactly what I'm looking for.
