Was one of them a pipe? His word against the dead guy unless the other gets caught.

He only hit him 120 times after he went down. :)

MasterTech, was that you with BHW's ban club?

What stopped him from #121? He was probably just wore the hell out lol. If they put me on that jury I'll promise that trucker a medal. And a new shiny new pipe with no dents

    chico9696 and ewill71 Thank this.

Makes me wonder why a 60 year old is stealing? I guess they make 60 year old crack heads.

If I smoked that stuff I would fall over dead with a heart attack! :)

    It killed him!

Beating a burglar to death. This is more of what we need. We are too sympathetic to intruders.

I say, "good on ya" to that driver.

I do believe this falls under the Texas "castle doctrine" law.

I was hoping it was more under the "Thin the herd of stupid people" law.

Dipschitt, ewill71 and gator21 Thank this.

    Indeed.

Here is where I have a problem.

Intruder breaks in. What if the driver had been sleeping? Maybe he wouldn't be here to tell his side of the story.

Another issue. Had the intruder that took the beating survived, he could have sued the driver and WON IN COURT!!! WHAT THE HELL? THIS makes NO SENSE to me! What is wrong with our system? This is what I call a huge miscarriage of justice.

We live in a country where we (implying you and I are burglarized and non-criminals in nature) disabled from defending ourselves, thus further enabling criminals to freely walk into our lives, injure/kill us and then steal the stuff we busted our butts to earn! We, as a nation, have a serious problem here!
