Wouldn't a walking floor be handy right now? You have 5min or they're going to be in your parking lot!

Yeah that would be nice. I got on the phone with the broker and he called and told them he was going to sell them to c&s in Aberdeen they were begging for them. Anyway they got off my truck after that guess they found space for them. I don't know I got to get to Philly and pick up my load for next week going to Alabama.

And I also learned how much loads of watermelons pay. Being a company guy I wasn't in on that except this time I was. I guess it paid good. It was blackville sc to jessup md for 1580. The 80 was for the lumper so essentially it was 1500.

I dropped melons in Jessup last week. Ocala, FL to Jessup, MD $2200 to the truck. And 5 hours to get unloaded. Lumpers charged me $85 though.

I'd just load them on my flatbed and have driven 80mph the last hundred miles to cool them off...... at least that's how all those "hot loads" go for us, they always cool off by the time i bust ### to get to the reciever and they take 4 hours to unload me LOL
