I wouldnt even know how to do that but thank you so much for taking the time out to respond to me. It has been unbearable with the heat and I won't get back home until Sunday. Thanks again!

If you find someone to tack weld the clutch together then run the fan on manual override, the worst you can do is blow a hose. Good Luck!

I know the feeling and feel for you. I once had my AC go out running CA to FL in the summer. Then I was stuck in FL. That had to be the worst mosquito biting sweating weekend ever! :)

GOOD DEAL! I hope you're running the fan on manual until you hit the highway.

Like some one else said, dearler would just take your money, and charge you for every little thing,

I brought my truck to the dealer be cause the A/C was ding, the dearler in question had the truck for three days and could not find the leak, 735.00 bill. One week layer the A/C dead agin. Brougth it back to the same dealer, some how they found the leak in the back bunk, a relay valve was leaking! ( couldn't find the first time ). 67.00 for the part, no labor charge. One week layer again the A/C is dead for third time. This time I was mad as hell, some how the dearler found the leak, the compresser was leaking on the high side out the shaft. When I brought the truck in the first time, I told the dearler the leak is at the compresser ? 960.00 parts and labor.

Call American express, that was the charge card I used, I was not going to pay for the first bill in question, I was not paying for an bill, the dearler could not fix, American Express agreed.
