Many people have bad things to say about Carolina Cargo.
There are those that work for them like me that have good things to say.
For one,you can make more money now than you ever did before because of our new customer base in california that is not produce and is drop and hook to Florida. Everyone says that you only make ten cents a mile and for drivers out of school that is true but that is not permenant. The first 59 dollars you earn every day is tax free with carolina cargo. I take home over 600 per trip every week. we just got in some newer model international pro stars in the fleet and I love them but a lot of drivers here who came out of school and have been here for a couple of years and only driven automatics all that time are giving the trannies hell. They have no problems with me taking off three weeks for my marriage and and time with my wife. they treat you like family once you show that you are dependable and can do your job like a pro. we also have E-logs which takes a lot of work off you. my fiance lives in Los Angeles and my dispacher always tries to get me a load out of SC to the L.A. area so I can spend a night with her.If you need a job,I can help you.

600 running teams? Reason I ask is because every truck I see from CC they have 2 drivers.

they have a minority of solo drivers but for the most part they are teams.
that means you drove half the time for money you made and did not have to worry about finding a place to park everynight.

Carolina cargo is part of the solution and not the problem.
Its called rehabilitation. Comes before repentence.
    Its in your bible christian

I rather work for a company that doesn't hire felons, personally. Not because they hire the felons. It's because companies like that will give you the shaft for you have no other company to work for because you are a felon and those that are not are treated as if they are. Been there, done that.

Any reason why you just attacked me? Thanks for the opinion...

Anyway, I worked for a company that was known here in Florida for hiring felons. They treated everyone like garbage and would make comments of "where else can you go with your felony" and I'm not one. I do believe in rehabilitation for I know people that made some really wrong choices, learned their lesson, cleaned up their life, and are doing better than I am. I also know a few that have learned nothing at all. I'm glad there are companies that do hire felons, but disgusted how they treat them, especially if they are doing the right thing and turning themselves around.

Shaggy it was a joke not an attack, but I do understand what you are saying. But again bad companies are going to treat everybody bad no matter what there record, and at least there are companies who will give people a 2nd and 3rd chance.
