I think by law, you have to report to your company within one week of getting your ticket, or ASAP. Which is in every respect dumb on anybody's account. Since you have it off, you still have to tell your company everything. Trying to hide something is a terminating offense. The reason for that is if you're a company driver, you have to be insurable.

BIG TRUCKS=BIG BUCKS regardless.$600 was not cheap but very well worth it. lesson learned for op and any driver reading this thread. -
Oh, IMO, it's the Counties. Like with mine, the diversion fee was 50 bucks as a donation to the City Park Fund. They could care less about what the Feds want, IMO. It's all about money for their city or county. I was just shocked it was so cheap. The lady said I could pay more, of course, but for speeding tickets, it's a $50 donation. lol Of course, I still had to pay the fine and court cost. But 50 bucks was well worth keeping my dumbasss move off my record.

If there was no conviction and no dot inspection involved with the speeding ticket then it didn't happen. I had a ticket dismissed earlier this year, ran my MVR last week, clean as a whistle back to '94.
