Crazy storms today. Driving home was getting buffeted all down 30. Found out after I got home I was getting hit with 70 mph winds. :/

Sitting north of Wichita. Picking up in the morning for a Monday morning delivery in Youngstown, OH. 1135 miles. Guess I'm keeping the left door shut this weekend. :biggrin_25517:

Sitting at the Flying J just outside... maybe inside... of El Paso. Loaded with a High value load that I am not suppose to tell you about. :biggrin_25522: Oh, if you look at my nontarped trailer, you can read exactly whats on my trailer. :yes2557: So much for high value load security!

Now just trying to figure out if I want to stay here and get a reset in before leaving or play the 70 recap game and maybe not get home..... Decisions decisions...

Reset, Sit, run 11, run 11, run 8
No Reset, run 10, run 7, sit (out of hours and none coming back), run 11.... seems like I need a reset anyway???

At the shipper in Sandusky, OH. The truck finally got fixed but thanks to Freightliner giving the shop the wrong part I ended up losing another 1,000 mile run to Arkansas. So since it was so late in the day I got a 500 mile 3 stop Menards load. The routing for this one is ridiculous coming out of the Chicago area, US-14 and US-12. Its going to be long day. On top of that I have to stop in Gary to get a clearance light replaced. Oh this is going to be a long 2 weeks.

part of my... "work improvement plan" or "actionable item agenda" or whatever the hell it was called. was, in essence, "don't be disliked by staff" Now, the whole list was silly, my FM thought it was silly, so I started bugging him every day to find out who didn't like me, and if he'd found out yet. Sometimes, that would be the only reason for the call. after about a week he finally said "Yup, found him. Turns out it's Tom. He's sitting right next to me. Yup. He hates you good. pretty much with every fiber of his being. I don't think you two are going to be able to get past it. Sorry, but Tom's the one who hates you."
