The skills/road test are very basic and simple .. don't stress on it, if you pass yer CDL test, you will do fine at orientation ...

Okay, got a little time to kill before heading on to Atlanta. Training is going well. Had fun driving through Kansas City. Floating my gears as well. Now all I have to do is build up the time I can sit behind the wheel. Only been able to do it for about 5 hrs. I got a good nights rest last night so am shooting for a much longer time today.

well, it finally happened
running down from lincolnwood, IL (chicago basically), heading to norcross GA, i have the weekend to run it, its less than 800 miles, easy run. so I planned 6 today and 6 tomorrow. Planned stop is a pilot on I-65 in kentucky. I always go to pilots, cause thats where I have showers. anyway, i see a petro on the other side of the freeway and they have a dunkin donuts... score! lol, go in, get donuts and jump into the truck to get across the street for the day, which its only like 1pm. yeah I know, lazy lol usually I'd just run what I could and then take almost an entire day off but ah well. so I get into the truck, turn it on and bam, 4 warning lights, one of them being red so I know thats not good. I check the faults and it says poor scr quality and engine derated. I turn it off and back on again, still errors. soooo, as most of you guys know, (well since i didnt say the others, one warning was check engine, 2 of them look like exhaust one with an exclamation mark and the other one with rain drops and water or something, and the red stop sign with the engine)... I contact breakdown, they tell me to do a regen, the truck wont do it, I call DM, tell them to find someone to pick this trailer up cause IM gonna sit here for the weekend and they are gonna tow me on monday so they can tear apart the DEF, or when the trailer gets picked up, depending when that happens.... FUN FUN!!!! -
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope you're not down too long.

That'll teach you to never stop at Dunkin' Donuts again.

That sucks, done that a couple of times but it was spring time so it wasn't that hot, at least you at a truck stop so you can go inside and stay cool!
-
i wanted the pilot but yeah, at least i wasnt ON the road, and this petro has a movie theater in it... I've never eatten at an iron skillet before so might as well try it out for dinner tonight or tomorrow, and no i will NOT quit going to dunkin donuts! maybe Ill get my DD fix this weekend and never want to see one again! haha

so still here, which i expected, still have my trailer thats due tomorrow morning
feel like im doing something wrong, sitting here, not working. as big as this petro is i really wish they had a lounge
