I've seen a couple of different fuel pressure sensor wire mods for sale, on eBay, and at Diesel Freak. They appear to be nothing more than a couple of harness connectors, some wire, some heatshrink tubing, and a rheostat.

Does anyone know if I'm right on this?
Has anyone made one (or more) themselves?
And most importantly, if I am right, does anyone know the correct value and range of the rheostat?

I'd like to build one myself, and do some testing on the road with it. Any info would be appreciated.

there r many threads on here about what u r talking about. most guys have built them. they use a 1/2 watt 150 ohm resistor. if im wrong on the numbers im sure someone will correct it. from the stories ive read on here there is some mgp increase and power too. most of the ppl have put them on cats. havent really heard of them being used on cummins.

Ive never messed with one on an ISX, but as stated above. They are nothing more than a resistor. You can make one yourself for about $2 and a trip to radio shack.

If you cant find any info on the ISX engines, google 10K mod. Thats what they call it on the powerstroke diesel trucks. Same idea...
