long haul is at the pitts for me .going into crude oil hauling with the option to go into hauling gas when oil boom goes slow. 20$ an hour for starts ... 4 on 2 off -12 hr split shift...the home every night plan is now alot better for me now than the grueling OTR grind....

switching long haul carriers made me realize ,,,,its not there for me anymore,,, burnt out, stressfull watching alot of newbies in such a hurry they don't have time to tie their shoes.. filthy restrooms/showers,waiting for fuel, showers, loads . crowded truckstops just sucks...had hauled fuel before and was home everynight, but wanted one more run at longhaul.... one more time

JBS Carriers leadership is, for the most part, incompetent. They never seem to be able to get me home when I want and I stay out three months at a time. Whenever I ask for home time they send me the wrong direction and then can't seem to find me a load that takes me home. Any driver wanting to know if JBS is a good career choice should think twice and hard about going with them. My experience with them has been a little good and a lot negative. I have a 100% on time delivery and pickup record for the past two years. I've never had a ticket, accident or DOT violation (39 years of experience) and I'm still treated like a newbie driver who doesn't know what he's doing.
