Parked at the Love's in Hooker, OK for the night should be north of Des Moines by tomorrow barring problems. Here are my miles for this pay period.
6/23-6/25: 1732 LD / 63 MT
6/25-6/27: 712 LD / 0 MT
6/27-6/29: 751 LD / 44 MT
That comes to 3302 paid miles plus reset pay. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. I know I'm enjoying this 100+ degree weather here in OK.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Spent the night here in Williams, IA at the Boondocks Cafe. If you get the chance you should stop in. Great food, great service and low prices. I've gone through my 11 the last two days which has put me in the position of now at least contemplating going through Chitown tomorrow. Probably won't though because if anything happens and I run out of hours I don't want to spend the night in Gary (shudder) with the 4th coming up. We shall see.

Thanks for the posts Weeble. How long is the training at your company and how soon can a spouse ride with you? Some places are from day one and others require 90 days. Thanks and have a safe 4th.

Delivered yesterday morning in Eau Claire, WI and send in my MT call when I get a msg to hold tight we have a load for you to take from there to a Menard's in Appleton. So instead of a simple drop, I have to wait for them to finish loading the trailer and then hook up to it. In total, it took about 2 hours to complete. Oh well, was paid an extra .03 cpm instead because of the short haul pay rather than just going to Green Bay MT. Dropped MT in Appleton, picked up loaded trailer at Georgia Pacific and spent the night in De Pere, WI. Was really hoping to be at Russell Road last night so I wouldn't have such a tight couple of days, but what can you do. The first little annoyance that I have had in a while here.

i never spend any time in Gary In. If I stop in chicago where the inlaws are I run down 57 off 80 to exit 132 Monee Il just 10 miles out of the way and nice big Petro
Coming down out of Wisconsin Gps always wants me to take the city I avoid that by going 90---290--355--to 80 misses worse of the traffic for me
just my .02crazw and Weeble Kneeble Thank this. -
Thanks for the tip Pete, I'll remember that when I have to get through Chicago and I know it's gonna be miserable. Generally if it's dark out I'll just go straight through like this morning. Spending the night at the TA in Harborcreek, PA and then up early for my last 11 hour drive day of the week. I'll drop this in Lewiston and then head home for the holiday. Won't be heading out until Saturday so I'll enjoy this mini vacation out on the lake with some friends. I'll post my miles for this pay period later this week. They should be 3100+. Hope everyone enjoy the holiday, and for those travelling like myself, be safe.
Kutina Thanks this. -
Hey folks,
I'm getting ready to start cdl school in Aug. and I'm in the western part of NC. I've looked at Wolding's website and I see they have a terminal in NC but it doesn't specify where??? Sounds like a good company from what I'm reading and I want to take a closer look.
Thanks and keep safe!

Just got cdl today and I am headed to H.O Wolding to start orientation on July 17. I chose them because a driver that went and graduated from the school I was at, stop in last week.
He has been with them for two years driving the sw regional now is 48 states. He had nothing but good things to say about them so that is what I based my decision on. Looking forward to the journey ahead.
Any imput about what to expect in orientation so I can better prepare myself would be much appreciated. -
