Money is great but drivers burn out fast. Most take the job thinking they are just gonna drive a tanker all day and that is it.Then they hit the lease roads, experience the H2S,and the lovely produced water and endless dust and just don't show up again, lol.Hell are yard has lost 4 this week alone.
gdyupgal Thanks this. -

For some reason kids these days believe that once they have that Class A they know everything and can drive anything.I drive for the love of it,not to become rich.If I can make a decent check I am good.If I am not happy with where I am I move on,so back to OTR I go. -
To those there or that worked there recently...How bad is it at Williston? Do you have to wait in line to eat at the cafes? I guess traffic in town is horrible? Is food, gas, etc really high there?

Thanks for the input guys, at least I have some companies that I had'nt heard of, guess I can google them & get some info & contact numbers.
Martin has a terminal in Chattanooga & I've been talk'n with them some, since they have some local runs I'm think'n of maybe haul'n crude for a while & then I have the semi local routes to run that will keep me closer to home.
That been'n said if a man can turn 70K a year & be home on weekends it would make it easy just to pull up stakes & move to wher the money is. -
What's the full name of Plains of West Texas? I tried google, but all I got was a refer company out north Texas.
