I would explain the trailer situation to your DM also, maybe he can get something done in regards to getting it fixed. Take the load and see f they can reschedule the p/u since your issues will delay you in getting to the customer on time.

You read my mind!!! -
Unfortunately you are digging yourself a hole that you may not be able to get out of now. You never, ever tell your DM "NO"! No matter how crappy the load. They aren't doing it to punish you. Its a load that needs to be taken care of and they need you to take care of it. This is part of trucking. You will have your good loads and bad loads. When you do favors like this for your DM without question then they know who to come to when they do have good loads. The likely hood of you getting a good load anytime soon is very, very little. Chances are you will be put to the side and your DM is going to deal with the drivers that say yes!
This is not an insult to you, this is how the industry works. Now when you find your miles steadily decreasing in the next few months you will know why. I would strongly advise you to never do this again!double yellow, Rick_C, Kairidragon and 2 others Thank this. -
Where is the customer at? Maybe we can help with a washout location.
Kairidragon Thanks this. -
Decatur, AL and yes we are still looking for a place to wash it out. And thank you for all of the responses. Yes I do agree that England is a crappy company but until we get more experience we are stuck with it. As far as the DM, I have sent a msg to him apologizing for my actions and explained it was a heat of the moment thing that I wished I could take back and that my actions were uncalled for. The trailer however is still not funtioning properly and roadside is taking their sweet time getting around to it
LOL We are still taking the load but not until we can get the trailer fixed. You guys really are a big help though. Don't know what we would do without this website!

In situations like this I give my dispatcher all the pertinent info and let them decide whether or not I get pulled off the load.chompi and 1azsupertrucker Thank this. -
The company you works for sucks. Find a new job. NOBODY should have to play those types of games.
losttrucker, Lonesome and Kairidragon Thank this. -
Only have 6 months verifiable experience though and don't want to have to go back out with another trainer

Anyways act like you are coming out of the truck stop at the light. Instead of turning go straight across Hwy 64. I believe it's the second building on the right. It looks like a 4 or 5 bay truck shop. They do washouts.Pmracing, Kairidragon and scottied67 Thank this.
