The equipment guys are a donkeys behind at gary. Appleton I never had a problem though, they never had someone watching me get equipment.

I also need to probably do an inventory on my truck. I know I have more than 22 straps and way more than 16 chains for sure

Yup, did the same thing to me on Friday. I just started laughing. "OK, maybe we'll do that, but first, we're gonna go verify with Mike that that's what he actually meant..." Mike said no, just do an inventory.

At the Wilco Hess in Pomaria, SC. I am about 30 miles from the cons. They did put a pre plan on me but I have never seen appt times that dealt with drop and hooks. Oh well I told them I can't make the delivery at 2200 tomorrow becuase I will be out of hours. The planner came back with we figure the delivery tomorrow but we need you under this one because there is no one else. Well I guess we will see how this goes.

Sitting in gary for the night, wondering if I will get to see any fire works from the terminal ???
Its days like this that I'm happy I still have a older truck with a tri-pac that works, noticed the
Folks with new trks not sitting in them. Had to swap trks with the local guy in st louis And take his
Trk to marshfield and get him another trk and take it back to st louis. I ended up swapping trks
Three times in 48 hrs, but got good miles. It was hot ride to marshfield, :-( no ac in the other guys old trk !

Why in the world would you have more than 16 chains? Where do you even put them?

I didn't inventory what was on the truck when I got it. I did, but not the chains.

My middle compartment on the headache rack is full, probably 12-14 chains. I got one 5/16 in a milk crate on my catwalk that the last guy who had the truck left me, one 3/8 and two 5/16 in my small side toolbox, two 3/8 chains in the bottom of the right toolbox on my headache rack, and finally about five chains on the floor in front of my passenger seat.

18 straps in my right part of the headache rack and six straps in my side box (one load I needed all 24 just to keep it from shifting)

Three portable winches that are brand new

    About 20 metal edge protectors

    30+ strap edge protectors

Two steel and two lumber tarps

Had 140 bungies but so many of the crappy ones broke that I have about 70 left. Yeah. 70

Oh and I only counted 12 binders

Well that's a rough estimate of what's in my truck. Could have more, could have less.

I also learned from a Melton driver on how to fold my lumber tarps in a way to make them smaller. I used to only be able to fit the two tarps in my side toolbox. Now I can get both tarps, 10 straps, and still have room to close my doors without leaning against them.
