They'll just do what IRT does and take it out of his pay.

Local guy their is a pretty honest guy. I dealt with him on and off for 3 weeks. I'd take his word for it. He's a one man show with all the freight and he's responsible for equipment maint. when it comes thru

Plus he lives around the corner . I don't see him waiting in the truck when he's not busy..

He might have been, but he could have called breakdown. I don't blame him. I blame driver that dropped it this way. It should have not been dropped in this condition. Neither trailer should have. It's just driver laziness.

I got to Lagrange and warehouse is closed until Thursday. No one is answering phone to change appt. I sit and wait. It's a really bad miles week this week. Part of having a major holiday in middle of the week...

Not sure what the truck requirements are as it doesn't seem to show it on the page. Maybe I should suggest that to them. I would assume that in the absence of such info, as long as your truck is reliable and passes DOT specs, it should be good. The website does show a $2500 sign on bonus and gives a phone number you can call. It's 866-619-2398.

You should be able to get home at least weekly depending on the fleet you join, and living where you do you may even get to choose Southeast OR southwest, since both serve LA (I'm SW and I'm in Baton Rouge right now). Some dedicated accounts let you get home 2-3 nights a week.

I would call he number and ask them, see what y'all can work out.

    So...

Dropped my load in Miami. Ran over to Medley and took that load to Lakeland. Repowered a load off yard and ran that to Arcadia. Deadheading 300 miles to Lee to pickup and it delivers at noon tomorrow in Pendergrass, GA. I calculate about 1750 miles this week once I get hone Friday. Not bad for extra home time and holiday.

Runs you right through my old stomping grounds of Valdosta and Lake Park... now that I live in Texas I don't get there much. Wish I could have got on with Link when I still lived there. Didn't have enough experience then, though. Stay safe!
