Speaking of outlawing they need to outlaw 10.00.20 tires period those tires can have 8/32 of thread and blowout and make a mess. And nothing is wrong with recaps i have 4 recaps on the front tandem and 4 virgin on the back axle of my truck.

Just a little reading on the recap/virgin debate -
yes more govt laws....ah i feel soooo much safer
-
Are recaps allowed on dollies?
-
I take it that you guys are saying virgins don't blow out, Somebody get me 11 virgins 2 steer and 9 drive!
-
Yes, they are allowed on dollies, trailer axles, drive axles and steer axles of trucks, but not steer axles of passenger buses.
-
Recaps aren't allowed on steer tires in Georgia.
-
-
Seeing as how recap technology has come a long way, I would say no to outlawing them. They reduce oil consumption and are a great way to recycle perfectly good sidewalls when tread goes bad on new tires.

I'm looking for it!
*Edit*
This is ALL I can find and it doesn't give a reg number so take it with a grain of salt.
