Well it turned out that the shipper in Louisville does NOT leave the bills out for USX loads, contrary to the load instructions. We picked it up in the morning and got a new appt time of 7/6 1030. Between Mansfield and Akron we got another appt change to Monday. I had him pull over in the next rest area and ask where we could drop it. We are now at Shippensburg with two PP's to cover the weekend. Awesome.

My student should get his 75 by Monday or so then we will switch to team. He's teaming with a friend after training. Unfortunately, his friend has been sitting alot due to a bad turbo seal. He'll probably end up waiting on his friend to finish.

Wow, Vince 75 hrs by Monday? Thats awesome!
I knew you would be a great trainer. Your trainee
was in my orientation, and I won't have 75 hours
till next week end when my trainer takes home
time for 4 days. He is great but been out 6 weeks
He said he will team with me after he gets off home time.
The guy I will be teaming with is in the NE and not getting
a ton of miles but we may upgrade at the same time with
my down time. I'm loving this so far.

For those wondering about miles a trainer gets, I got 2114 miles this week. This was a short week due to the holiday since the cut off was Monday instead of Tuesday. So I got paid for those plus $100 training bonus ($20 for each day a trainee is on the truck).

OK, I am really ready to get back to work. Been home 5 1/2 days and I am getting antsy. Great time at home and we really needed it but I love being on the road. Waiting on a PP.

We have been home for 9 days. Great load of 2400 miles to get our feet wet again.

Bus ticket or your gas money paid if you drive.
    Hotel paid.
    Lunch provided.
Orientation paid. Probably $58 per day for the 3 days.

We got $66 per day at Markham because everything else is more expensive there they said.
