    what is it and what does it do how do u know if its working properly if not working properly could it cause higher egt

    if your talking about the diverter valve for the precooler it regulates the water that cools the charge air going through the cac. if you can figure how to keep it open all the time, some say it will cool down the air alot better.

    yes thats what i was refering to so if it cooles the air than it should keep the egts lower as well for a cooler combustion

    not really it just keeps it in a certain range. it's not big enough of a cooler for what your getting at. you would need to do alot of other mods to achieve that. ie bigger cac, adv timing.
