Don't know if they put in the experienced category but I been employed 5 years with a pipe and fitting distributor. 2 years I've worked the dock, 3 years drove a straight flat bed truck, 6 months out of that I drove a flat bed tractor trailer after going to truck driving school. 5 years I been working there I always help drivers strap down there load. Load consist of 20 to 40 ft steel or plastic pipe and wrapped pallets. We don't tarp tho and we haul to many job sites also. Have knowledge of straps, load checking but just need training on tarps.Waiting on recruiter to see where would I fall into

I got lucky especially for where I live with parking. I have a family friend who owns a Marine on a 10 acre lot that is locked and gated all around for the boats being stored. I have my spot and even an outlet to plug it in when the temp gets cold. All I do in return is plow his lot in the winter time with the snow. Nice exchange. Oh and I can get all these 11'11" OD loads through the gate. Some of the boats back there are that wide!

I would think experienced. That would be some BS if you dont.

Just put it off for a few months and go on a tight budget so you have a little something to fall back on. Or just stay at Frito Lay. You guys do make pretty good money. Along with those pepsi Dday drivers.

Inexperienced is $400/week during orientation, $425/week while with trainer, before tax.

I hear ya on the going broke part while training. Its tough, I promise you. I had to do some financial planning in order to afford coming fo work here. Thats why Ive stated that I risked alot to come here. Only you will know if its worth it. Everybody is different and feels and sees things differently. One of the big things Ive noticed while out here on the road, alot of trucking companies dont even take care of their own equipment, you know they aint gonna take care of their drivers. Just my opinion.
