Of course Millis looks top notch and is when you compare them to the likes of Covenant and Werner. They are mediocre in the grand scheme of things, and no place for anyone with real experience. There are a lot of cheerleaders on here with hundreds of posts but keep in mind Millis is all they know. That much time to post how great Millis is with that short of experience means you are sitting way too much or simply have no life.

My friend worked there for three years, and was crazy enough to take almost anything that porker Jay threw @ him. He always bragged about "bonus-this" and "schmonus that", to include safety, miles, idling, etc. and how much money he was making. He was usually gone 2 1/2 to 3 weeks @ a time, and home 3 full days, maybe 4 if he was lucky. Running close to 4000 miles per week (so he claimed) before Millis went to EOBR's.

I looked at one of his mid-June pay stub once, and he had grossed less than $18,000 after working the whole year. And at the end of the year with Millis paying per diem up front he had to pay in to taxes instead of getting a refund. And i know for a fact at least part of their bonus program gets paid with every check.

What kind of company makes you come in on YOUR hometime to take THEIR truck to the Caterpillar or KW dealer when it needs repairs? Millis Transfer, that's who.
