Thanks so much 'theedle'. I lost my mother not too long ago, and I'm still not over that really. I'm only 29, so this is a lot to take in. I guess at any age it would be a lot to take, but ####...

I appreciate all the support on here. You guys are great! It just sucks how the timing worked out. Now I don't know if I was so scared about the trucking thing as much as I had one of 'those feelings' something would happen. :-\

JestCat, trucking will be there if you want... Take care of your priorities. I remember I was about to take my CDL test when my mom passed away in another country where she was living. I flew there to be with my dad for a month and then came back and restarted CDL training all over again... which helped me because I really needed A LOT of training... so anxious and nervous that I was/am. If trucking is really for you, it will happen.
Don't worry. Be with your dad now. Take one step at a time. My thoughts and prayers for you and your dad.
