Hi Chet, the 500-700 a week is a safe number the recruiters use as they are real big on not setting you up for failure or putting the thoughts in your head that you will make tons of money cause it comes down to you and how hard you wanna work. we are paid on percentage (the work smarter not harder idea) as for taxes we are paid on a 1099 independent contractor no taxes are taking out of that wage.
ive talked to alot of the drivers and they all are saying 800-1000 is avg for what they are making, i was on the higher end of that last month but it was a great month with minimal down time hoping it stays that way but we will see.
as for miles im averaging 2200-2500 a week
hope that answers your question

Yes it does. How longdo you stay out? I live in WI. Sammons said I should be able to run through home.
-
i try to stay loaded but i am also playing catch up from my last job, im kicking my self cause i waited a little to long to make the switch, but i was able to get through the house for a day or so a few times last month and then i was home for 5 days for the 4th. im learning the system and think 3 weeks is the key with 3-4 days off but then again everyone is different and its your business to run,
sorry for the long answer im not good and short answers -
Ok thanks again and I hope you keep up the posts I enjoy reading your post

I grabbed another load of pipe out of Umatilla OR, on monday took a while to get loaded and it was hot truck said it was 112... but didn't hold me up to bad still made it to Williston Tuesday night for wensday off load. freight was really slow, i did find a load and was headed to pick it up and it canceled so we camped out at the Chatz Crossroads Travel Plaza very nice truck stop with a good resturaunt.r I called Billie this morning and she had a load of snowmobiles out of MN so we bounced over here but didn't make it to load today which isn't a huge deal will just load in the morning and head to Colorado for a 1st monday then 2nd stop on tuesday... then hopefully find something out of their with out a huge dead head
