Thanks so much 'theedle'. I lost my mother not too long ago, and I'm still not over that really. I'm only 29, so this is a lot to take in. I guess at any age it would be a lot to take, but ####...

I'm not a whole lot older than you and lost both mother and stepfather in the span of 51 weeks.

If you need to vent, let me know.

I appreciate all the support on here. You guys are great! It just sucks how the timing worked out. Now I don't know if I was so scared about the trucking thing as much as I had one of 'those feelings' something would happen. :-\

JestCat, trucking will be there if you want... Take care of your priorities. I remember I was about to take my CDL test when my mom passed away in another country where she was living. I flew there to be with my dad for a month and then came back and restarted CDL training all over again... which helped me because I really needed A LOT of training... so anxious and nervous that I was/am. If trucking is really for you, it will happen. :yes2557: Don't worry. Be with your dad now. Take one step at a time. My thoughts and prayers for you and your dad.

Sorry to hear about your father. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us updated, and take things one day at a time. Don't worry about truckin right now, focus on being there for your dad. Feel free to PM me if you needs to vent/ talk.

You will make it JestCat because you are concerned about doing the right thing. Our prayers are with you and also wish you much success in trucking.
